MOUNTAINS
TIBBLE FORK
American Fork Canyon
Easy parking - Bathroom
Mountain views, lots of green in summer months, accessible during winter months. Lots of variety within short walking distance.
WEATHER: Moderate during most of the year. Winter months, weather can be unpredictable & cold. Backup location is recommended during winter months.
JORDAN PINES
Big Cottonwood Canyon, Salt Lake
Easy parking - Bathroom - Travel fee ($25)
Mountain views with deep greens year round with variation of other colors during colder months. Accessible during winter months.
WEATHER: Moderate during most of the year. Winter months, weather can be unpredictable & cold. Roads can be icy during winter. Backup location is recommended during winter months.
Silver Lake

Provo Canyon
Dirt road parking - No Bathroom
Mountain views with deep greens during Spring & Summer with fall colors later in the year. Beautiful sunsets! NOT accessible during winter months.
WEATHER: Moderate during most of the year. Roads are not paved all the ways there, vehicle that can handle dirt road is recommended.

Easy parking - Variety of locations 5-15 min drive apart
Mountain views with deep greens year round with variation of other colors during Fall. Lots of unique locations within a short driving distance. Wild flowers usually bloom late May through June. NOT accessible during winter months.

Red rock formations with surrounding foliage & open field. NOT accessible during winter months.

Albion basin
Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta
Easy parking - Bathroom - Travel fee ($25) + Parking fee ($10)
Mountain views with deep greens year round. Wild flowers peak season July-August. Not accessible during winter months.
NOTE: Bring bug spray!
WEATHER: Moderate during most of the year. Canyon road near entrance tends to be busy, please plan for extra time before meeting up.

Tunnel springs park

Easy parking - Bathroom - Travel fee ($25)
Large open field with distant mountain views. Beautiful sunsets. Pompass grass and fence line. Green grass Spring through mid-Summer with yellowed grass late-Summer through Fall.
WEATHER: Moderate during most of the year. Can be windy.
Utah lake (provo marina)

BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS
Wendover, Utah
Easy parking - Bathroom - Travel fee ($150)
Beautiful white salt textures with distant mountain views. Amazing sunsets! Long drive.
NOTE: Salt should wash out of most clothes & shoes but certain fancy fabrics (like suede) might not wash perfectly.
WEATHER: Wind unpredictable, can be very windy. This location is dry or wet (flooded) depending on the season… All seasons are gorgeous!
Great saltair
Magna - Salt Lake City
Easy parking - Bathroom - Travel fee ($25)
Beautiful open sand flats with distant mountain views. Amazing sunsets! Lots of walking, bring good shoes. Water shoreline… If you want playful water photos, this is a great option!
NOTE: Sand should wash out of most clothes & shoes but certain fancy fabrics (like suede) might not wash perfectly. Mosquitoes… BRING BUG SPRAY!
